Medina Ziyaraat

Medina also known as Madinah, is the second holiest city in Islam and is home to several important ziyaraat (visits) for Muslims. These include:

The Prophet’s Mosque (Masjid Al-Nabawi): This is the mosque where the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is buried. It is considered to be the second holiest mosque in Islam and is visited by millions of Muslims every year.

The Rawdah Mubarik: The Rawdah is the area located between the Prophet’s (PBUH) tomb and the pulpit (minbar) of the mosque. It is considered to be the most sacred area in the mosque and Muslims try to pray or perform their Salah there.

Riyaz ul Janah: It is a place from Minbar to Rawadh Mubarik and known as a place of jannah, sitting there and offering prayer in that area is highly recommended.

The Quba Mosque: This is the first mosque built by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his companions upon their arrival in Medina.
